In the sthlmflex project, Vattenfall Eldistribution AB, Ellevio AB and E.ON Energy Distribution purchase flexibility on NODES™ ShortFlex™ and LongFlex™ markets. During winter 2023-2024 the market will run from 1 December 2023 to 31 March 2024. This follows the project’s first winters in 2020/2021, 2021/2022 and 2022-2023.

During winter 2023/24 Vattenfall Eldistribution AB, Ellevio AB and E.ON Energy Distribution will be buying flexibility on NODES’ market platform as:

  • Hourly products on a day ahead and intraday basis in theShortFlex™ market;
  • On certain days, the network operators will call for availability during estimated 160 hours for an estimated total price of 200 000 SEK;
  • Seasonal availability products, that consist both of an activation and an availability price, through a LongFlex™ tender.

By signing the Membership Agreement, participants adhere to NODES Rulebook and to Svk’s Code of Conduct.

Participants using resources from other grid customers than themselves also need to submit the Power of Attorney to Vattenfall Eldistribution AB, Ellevio AB and/or E.ON Energy Distribution to enable the network operators to collect meter values.

If you already participated in sthlmflex during winter 2022/23, you do not need to resubmit the above documents. Please confirm your continued participation by email to member.services@nodesmarket.com.

FSPs are only expected to provide an approximate distribution of flexibility assets between the grid areas. Two of E.ON’s local grid areas are located below the regional grid areas. FSPs with assets located in E.ON’s local grid areas should include these in E.ON’s local grid areas only. Assets that are located in E.ON’s local network area can sell flexibility both at a local and regional level.
