Fingrid and Helen Sähköverkko, the DSO in Helsinki, have completed the public procurement of the marketplace solution supplier for the TSO-DSO congestion management market pilot project. NODES won the tender.

Fingrid and Helen Sähköverkko aim to start trading on the congestion management market in January-February. The condition for the market’s launch is that the Energy Authority approves the terms and conditions for operating in the congestion management market. Participation in the marketplace is open to all flexibility service providers who can provide flexibility and meet the conditions for operating in the market.

Fingrid and Helen Sähköverkko are preparing the trading products for the congestion management market pilot project in collaboration with the marketplace solution supplier, NODES. Both capacity market and energy market for congestion management are planned.
