Troms Kraft was granted 38,7 MNOK from Enova for its large-scale demonstrator project at Senja.

Enova announced the grant at the Enova Conference in Trondheim, Norway. A total of 210 MNOK was granted to eight large scale demonstrator projects. See link to Enova press release (in Norwegian).

Troms Kraft AS will implement the demonstrator project on the island Senja in northern Norway.   Troms Kraft Nett, the local DSO, will implement smart infrastructure that demonstrates how flexibility can be used to secure power supply at a distribution grid level. Senja is sparsely populated and reinforcing the grid is an expensive and lengthy process. NODES will participate with its marketplace in the project.
