Flexibility and electromobility are key aspects of the current discussion in Germany. Harald von Heyden, from Agder Energi, was invited to hold the keynote on the experience from Norway. He introduced NODES as enabler for flexibility from E-Mobility and presented the two use cases in Germany and Norway.
After his keynote, Harald participated in a panel discussion together with Stefan Küppers, CEO of the largest German DSO Westnetz and Markus Stötzel from PSI.
The BDEW (German Association of Energy and Water Industries) is the largest energy industry association in Germany. It has 1‘800 members, including local and municipal utilities, regional and inter-regional suppliers, all four German TSOs and almost all large DSOs. The association has considerable influence on German energy policy. The BDEW Treffpunkt Netze is the leading grid congress in Germany with more than 500 participants.
