The APG Marktforum serves as a platform for regular and joint interaction between the Austrian national TSO, APG, and stakeholders from the Austrian and European energy sector. It takes place on a regular basis 2-4 times a year. The goal of the APG Marktforum is to set the framework for grid service markets, with emphasis, but not limited to regulation reserve.
At the APG Marktforum on March 26th, 2019, Benedikt Deuchert from NODES gave a presentation on the usage of local flexibility markets for congestion management including redispatch, which is a significant issue in Austria. He explained the NODES test installation in the MITNETZ Strom DSO area in Germany in that context.
