Flexibility service providers can register their interest in participating in Stockholm flexibility market.

Expression of interest is open to flexibility providers, aggregators and asset owners in the sthlmflex project.

Svenska kraftnät, Ellevio and Vattenfall Eldistribution have launched sthlmflex to test a regional flexibility market in the Stockholm area to bridge the capacity gap that can be experienced during winter months.

The sthlmflex project is unique because it involves two regional DSO’s and the TSO and it seeks to resolve congestion both at a regional DSO and a TSO level. The project seeks to recruit flexibility service providers (FSP) to participate in live tests during the winter season 2020/2021.

This research and development project has contracted with NODES to operate the market. Coordination between TSO and DSO is a key element of the project and NODES will offer a market based coordination alternative, as well as integration to the TSO mFRR market.
