NODES has won the procurement process to operate the flexibility market in the J\u00e4mtkraft Eln\u00e4t area. \u00a0J\u00e4mtkraft Eln\u00e4t are taking a proactive role to meeting the challenges that will be facing the local grid in the energy transition. Setting up a local market for flexibility will allow both producers and consumers of energy to get paid for providing flexibility to the electricity system.<\/p>\n

NODES has experience from operating sthlmflex<\/strong> where the grid operators Vattenfal Eldistribution, Ellevio and E.On bought flexibility from local flexibility service providers, and from Effekthandel V\u00e4st<\/strong> where G\u00f6teborg Energi N\u00e4t and M\u00f6lndal Energi N\u00e4t did the same in their license areas.<\/p>\n
