In the NorFlex project, NODES operates a flexibility market in the DSO Agder Energi Nett and Glitre Energi Nett grids in southern Norway. The market opened for trading during autumn of 2020. This white paper shares NODES experience with operating the market between October 2020 and March 2022.<\/p>\n

The NorFlex project demonstrates use of local flexibility in the grid areas of Agder Energi Nett and Glitre Energi Nett and offer flexibility to Statnett, the Norwegian TSO, by using the NODES marketplace.\u00a0 The project demonstrates how local flexibility can be used to reduce or defer grid investment and secure better operation of the grid both at the distribution and transmission grid level.<\/p>\n

NorFlex is funded by Enova and delivered by projects partners; Agder Energi, Glitre Energi, Statnett and NODES.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
