Øystein Dyvik Eide is responsible for defining stories and prioritizing the Team Backlog to streamline the implementation of DevOps priorities while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of the features or components for the team. Øystein has been involved with flexibility products in the Agder Energi Flexibility Department (where NODES was initiated) since 2018. He gained vital experience being the Product Owner of a DSO IT tool to optimize grid operations and utilize demand-side flexibility ahead of joining NODES in March 2020. As well as having experience from two Norwegian DSOs, Øystein has been a key contributor in both technical and business areas of NorFlex, a Norwegian large-scale pilot unlocking and utilizing flexibility from more than 1400 customers, from households to industry. The project includes the Norwegian TSO and three DSOs. Øystein holds a Bachelor in Renewable Energy Engineering and a Masters in Industrial Economics and Technology Management. His thesis analysed the cost-benefit of demand-side flexibility in the distribution grid.
