That market operator is NODES. NODES was established in February 2018 and is equally owned by Nordic & Baltic TSO’s, and the Energy Utility Company, Agder Energi.
NODES has developed a bottom up market design which will allow flexibility to be available for trading at all levels of the grid. Being a start-up company, we are engaged in projects spanning more than 10 European Countries, demonstrating different aspects of our market design, and establishing local integrated flexibility markets.

Our projects sit in the middle of the energy transition on the road to a net zero society and is key to helping deliver on the objectives of the EU’s Clean Energy Package.
As Head of Platform Operations, you will form part of the management team, reporting into the CEO and will work closely with all the business unit leaders to ensure we develop and operate a customer centric market place for trading flexibility.
Based in Oslo, you will be responsible for designing and implementing company policies around IT integration, regulatory compliance and customer service. You should be a responsible leader with an analytical and strategic mind, have a broad knowledge of the energy industry, preferably Electricity markets.
As Head of Platform operations your duties would include, but are not limited to:
- Working with the management team to establish an integrated operational framework.
- Overseeing the management of the operations desk
- Developing and implement systems and tools necessary to maintain a robust service to our customers
- Establishing and maintain a business continuity plan
You will be fluent in English and have a minimum of 5 yrs management experience within operations, be familiar with setting up procedures and protocols to ensure the robustness of our systems and services.
